Isaar Welfare Foundation and Blood Bank Centre has a well-equipped state of the art blood bank with all the latest facilities for cross-matching and screening to provide blood components from a healthy family donor screened for important communicable diseases like Hepatitis B, C, HIV, Malaria and venereal diseases when required. Blood bank operates in three shifts daily with a senior technologist in each. On average, about 170 bags collected and approx. 250 tested every month. The quality of work performed in the Blood Bank is directly related to the quality of its staff, therefore Murshid Hospital has ensured that all Blood Bank medical technologists are qualified and experienced.
Murshid Hospital and Health Care Centre will be registering blood donors later to overcome any emergency requirement of the blood. Blood camps are often organized to reach more people and encourage them to donate blood for the patients.
